4 Months Old!

My little lady is growing up like a weed! Yesterday she was four months old. She accomplished a major feet on her big day. She officially rolled over and propped herself up on her elbows. She finally got to see the world, well our living room, from a different angle. She worked so hard at it that she tuckered herself out....which allowed me to capture this shot of her....

We also think pants are extremely overrated!!  :)

and three becomes four...

I always knew I would like to have a couple of kids...just never really knew when that would happen. Georgia Paige joined us in September and we will add one more about the same time this year. We are very excited about our expanding family and can't wait to share the stories...

Look at me!!

The Bumbo Seat!! If you don't have one for your baby...you need to get one. If you need a great idea for a baby gift...this is the way to go! It comes with a tray so you don't have to put their food on the table, fight with a plate, or put them in a nasty high chair. GP has started sitting in hers to help with learning how to hold her head up.

In a side note...my desk is very messy...that continues to be a work in progress!! ha

Georgia Paige is growing like a weed!! She has now learned how to smile and has started to make some funny noises. She has developed this "cough" that she likes to do. I am not worried at all by her health during these "coughs" due to the fact that she grins right afterwards! She thinks that is funny that she can now makes some noise...why doesn't she think it's funny when she is crying??

long overdue...

Wow...this is long overdue! I have gotten a bit behind on my blogging but things have been wild! I will start with an event that occured over a month ago...Halloween!

My little munchkin lady was a cow for her first Halloween! Thanks to Aunt Pam, who provided the fabulous costume, she was the cutest calf in the field. We happened to be in Louisville over that weekend for an equipment convention and were able to stop in and see our friends that lived just over the river. Georgia's new best friend Addison was a munchkin and Addison loved seeing a baby that was smaller than her! Neither one of them will probably remember the festivities that occurred during our one night stay but it was great to see our friends and introduce GP!!

6 Weeks Old



So today my little munchkin lady turns 6 weeks old! I can't believe that 6 weeks ago today...I was having a baby...wow that day was interesting...but more on that later. She has come a long way...


Look what I can do....
-Sleeping very well through the night...sometimes I get up before she does
-Working on holding my head up
-Focusing in on who is talking to me or what objects people seem to wave in front of my face
-and grinning...I like to smile!
-I like watching The Golden Girls and Wheel of Fortune ... ha

I welcomed a fabulous new addition to my family on Sept. 30, 2011. Not only has she brought a lot of joy to our home but also a few extra pounds to her mommy! I have said a couple of times that I wanted to start working out and eating better after she has arrived (I think everybody says that) but I do have the best of intentions. I have not been cleared from the doctor yet since giving birth to start working out but since my little one will be 6 weeks this Friday I do believe it is time to quit procrastinating...here comes the sign...


I had to work the Farm Fest show this past weekend and on my way down the street to the bathroom I was stopped by the Zumba lady. She handed me a card for a free workout and offered up a bag for me to drop my name in for a drawing. I said sure...what the heck...because I NEVER win anything! So I filled out my name and number, dropped the slip into the bag, and continued on my way...not thinking another thing of it! Well lookie there...I got a call just yesterday that I have won a weeks worth of Zumba classes for FREE!!  Now of all of the things I could have won...I win the workout classes...okay okay...I get it. I am out of shape and need to work out.... Thank you God for the sign!!
